By using Hakiru, you agree to these terms. Hakiru is a free chess training application operated by Sven Goetz, Berlin, Germany.

The Service

Hakiru provides chess games against Stockfish, AI-powered game analysis, interactive courses, and skill tracking. The service is provided free of charge and as-is.

Your Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Abuse the AI analysis or text-to-speech features (e.g., automated bulk requests).
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

Intellectual Property

The Hakiru name, logo, design, and code are the property of the operator. The Stockfish chess engine is open source and used under the GNU GPL license. Your game data belongs to you.

Availability

We strive to keep Hakiru available at all times but make no guarantees of uptime. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

Hakiru is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Hakiru after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
